The Third Annual RhuBarBeQue went off splendidly on May 10, 2008 at Fort Awesome (that's where I live).
The BhuBarBeQue is a celebration of the wonderful vegetable known as Rhubarb. Rhubarb is a perennial that survives in the tundra known as Minnesota, and is one of the first edible things to come up in the spring. So, the RhuBarBeQue celebrates the thawing of this Midwest place after such a long hibernation.
It was raining and cold, but we still had a great time. Some of the dishes that were contributed to a full belly are the following (please keep in mind that all of these were delicious):
- The usual RhuBarBeQue Sauce
- Rhubarb Cream Cheese Wontons
- Rhubarb Curried Cauliflower
- Rhubarb Cobbler
- Rhubarb Salsa
- RhuJitos (Rhubarb Mojitos)
- Rhubarb Marinated Tofu
- Rhubarb Pilaf
- Rhubarb and Tempeh Bread Bowl with Chevre
- Rhubarb Wine
- Rhubarb Dream Bars
- Rhubarb Compote on Vanilla Ice Cream
- Rhubarb Bread
- Rhubarb Sticky Rice

... and it was awesome!
Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you, Alan! I hope things are well. Congrats on the job at CTC! Those guys rock and I'm sure things will work out wonderfully in that area. Dave Eads (of CTC and FG/C fame) and I have been talking about taking a Twin Cities trip soon, so I'm definitely looking forward to that. We recently had a FG/C retreat (essentially a *long* staff meeting) discussing various administrivia and responsibility approaches that I think you guys could greatly benefit from. I'll talk to the rest of the crew and see what sort of evangalista/support/FreeGeekAwesomeness package we can put together for our soon-to-be trip up there. Keep up the FG/TC work and we'll be in touch soon!
(lost your contact info, hence the insane comment here on teh ethersite... hope you don't mind! :)

I have never heard of
I have never heard of Rhubarb but it sure sounds like a tasty treat. I think the rhubarb cobbler would be especially good. You learn something new everyday.

Dark circles
Great delicious!if Your eyes are the first thing people notice about you. Clothes can cover little problems with our figure. Hats can hide a bad hair day but your eyes announce your age to everyone who sees you. dark circles under eyes can affect us all
despite our age or gender. Your eyes can make you appear to be tired & older than your years or they can actually turn back
the clock on aging.
Eye Spam
I can't believe that Mark above actually spammed me with this eye/skin-care stuff. The thing is, it's human spam! I'm speechless.
